Members of the Chesterfield Utility Department will discuss the installation of a 1500 foot long "flood wall" at the Swift Creek water treatment center. Installation is scheduled to begin in May 2025.
The Department personnel will also provide an update on the HYDRILLA issue within the Swift Creek Reservoir.

State Senator Glen Sturtevant expressed disappointment that his bill to prevent hedge funds from buying up homes was defeated during the 2025 General Assembly session that ended in late February.
