Posted April 7, 2019 at 2:13 AMThe guest speaker for our April 4, 201 meeting was Mr. Randy Davis, Community Outreach Coordinator for Central Virginia, Office of the Attorney for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Randy Davis is a native of North Carolina, but has spent most of his life in Richmond. He worked for local radio and television stations for 28 years before becoming a state employee. He has been with the Attorney General's Office since 1999. Randy has served as the Attorney General's Director of Communications and later a his Director of Programs since 2009, when he transferred to the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. Today, he serves as the Unit's Community Outreach Coordinator for Central Virginia, where he spreads the word about the growing crimes of healthcare fraud and elder abuse. Randy and his wife, Jane, have been married 43 years, raised two children, and immensely enjoy playing with their six grandchildren.
