The guest speaker for our Feb. 2, 2017 meeting was Mr. Roy Eidem, professional magician.

Roy Eidem

Roy’s interest in magic started at about age 6 when his father vanished a coin and they found it together buried in the cushions of the living room couch. Since that time as a boy all he ever wanted for birthdays and Christmas was a new magic book or magic trick. As a young boy he practiced his magical skills by performing for friends, family, and school talent shows. He turned professional as a young man and now performs at adult and children’s parties, corporate events, and restaurants. Roy is the author of three books on magic, and teaches magic in closed sessions to other magicians.

His professional accomplishments include being elevated to the “Order of Merlin” by the International Brotherhood of Magicians, participation in America’s Got Talent, and being awarded a “Ph.D. in Magic” by the internationally exclusive, invitation only, Fechter’s Finger Flicking Frolic (4F). Roy believes that magic should not be a challenge to the intellect, but rather stimulate the intellect with laughter, joy, and astonishment. For more information about Roy and his amazing magic, visit his website at http://www.happy4magic.com.

Roy lives in Brandermill with his wife Brenda and plays golf with the Brandermill Country Club Senior Men's Golf Association.
