October 1st Meeting
Posted August 27, 2009 at 8:18 PMThe Brandermill Region Men’s Club is privileged to welcome as guest speaker for the October 1st meeting at the Brandermill Church, Mr. Paul Woody, a 29 year veteran with the Richmond newspapers, first with the News Leader and since 1992, with the Times Dispatch as featured sports columnist. A Virginia native, Mr. Woody holds Baccalaureate and Masters degrees from VCU.
Mr. Woody will speak beyond the business aspects of sports, and will offer a wide-ranging conversation on the world of sports in general, and in Virginia in particular. The Redskins and the NFL will be included in the discussion, as will Virginia, Virginia Tech, Richmond, and CAA football.
