Our special guest speaker this month will be Pamela Cooper, Chesterfield County's Anti-Litter Program Manager. Public littering has become an increasingly serious problem, both to our environment and, with the greater chemical toxicity of the items being indiscriminately discarded, a threat to our health. Pam has 27 years experience in in project management and marketing, 12 of them with the County government. She brings to us extensive information on the available volunteer programs for neighborhood cleanup projects designed to enhance property values, as well as information on the legal consequences of public littering.
