The Brandermill Region Men's Club is proud to announce that the guest speaker for our April 7, 2016 meeting will be Annie Tobey, beer columnist for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, who will speak on the exponential rise of Richmond as a beer destination (why and how), including current and future Richmond breweries.
Annie Tobey has been a professional writer for over two decades, with a focus on the beer industry for nearly ten years – once she recognized the rise of the industry and the joy of the research. Her beer articles have been published in a variety of regional and national publications, including the Richmond Times-Dispatch through her biweekly First Drafts beer column and Richmond.com, All About Beer and Beer Advocate. She is a member of the Pink Boots Society for women in the beer industry and the North American Guild of Beer Writers.
