Special guest speaker for the January 3rd meeting of the Brandermill Region Men’s Club (BRMC) will be Larry Newman, a volunteer Master Gardener with the Chesterfield County office. Larry developed a keen interest in horticulture at an early age, and has had the extensive training in subjects such as taxonomy, plant pathology, soil health entomology, cultural growing needs, and sustainable gardening as well as wildlife and integrated pest management, to qualify for the designation, Master Gardener. As a lifelong native of the county, Larry is highly knowledgeable in the unique features and gardening challenges we face.
